Happy Monday!
This snow storm was not our typical spring storm that we expect in March. The wind that rolled through the area in the afternoon cooled down a lot of the hardscapes in the area causing some snow to accumulate early on in the snow storm. As the storm is leaving our area around 1:30 AM this morning, we are finding that the Northern Colorado area received anywhere from 1 to 4 inches depending on where the snow drifted. North sides received more than South sides per usual. Our crews have been deployed since around 10 PM Sunday and we will work through the night clearing the jobs where we deemed necessary. We also take into account that this snow will compress as the ground temperatures warm back up. Below are the depths that we are seeing.
North Fort Collins: 1″
South Fort Collins: 1″
West Loveland 1.5″
East Loveland: 2-3″
Windsor: 1-2″
Greeley: 1″
Johnstown: 3-4″
