Subject: Drip Irrigation System
Blakeley, Allen, Jon
I have a problem with the underground drip irrigation system in my front
yard area. We were gone for a week and returned to find all six of the
plants in the yard completely dehydrated and dying. I had replaced 3 of
these plants in the spring because they had died. I have been hand
watering the plants and they were doing fine. I have resumed hand watering
in hope of saving the plants-they are in really bad shape-may have to
replace all 6 plants.
I dug around the plants and I can not find any sign of a drip system for
the plants along the fence on the westerly side of the yard-I could not
find the tubing unless it is really deep and if it is there it is
non-functional.
Along the southeastern side (in front of the patio) I found the tubing and
a drip nipple -appears and feels to be completely dry-no water Who is
responsible for the drip system? It is either partially not there at all
and where it exits not working. Now that I dug around (I realize should
have done this when the first plants died), I don’t think that the drip
system has ever worked.
Who should I see to get this fixed?
