Scott Culley informed me that I should pass this works request onto the HOA Management Company and then you would pass it on to the appropriate contractor. There is a significant amount of brown grass at the side of our home, by the driveway and I have not noticed any watering occurring in that area….see photos below, Thanks, Rich 970 294 2682 |

Opened various control valves manually in grass near area in question. Located valve responsible and checked zone on controller corresponding with decoder #. Control valve not opening. Troubleshooting on solenoid and decoder. Solenoid functioning properly, decoder only putting out 20 volts maximum. Went to DBC to get decoder. Programmed decoder and wired in to solenoid. Tested and valve now works properly. Ran zone manually to make up for deficit. While checking zone, noticed leak near sprayhead. Dug up sprayhead and checked funny pipe for leaks. Leak was just up from funny pipe on PVC lateral line…skewered by edging staple. Repaired line and pressure tested. Also noticed extra dry strip further north in same mutual backyard area. Located valve responsible and ran manually. Troubleshooting on solenoid and decoder. Solenoid operating normally. Could not determine decoder…number faded off. Will follow up and check voltage on decoder based on multiple controller stations activated. – Mark |
