Good afternoon, Joe and Rane,
We spoke about a possible damaged sprinkler head in the Cottages a few
weeks ago, which you addressed back on July 19th. The owner called me last
Thursday, stating that the last two watering cycles lacked pressure and
insufficient coverage to her lawn.
I understand the report description from Josiah, read that the water
pressure appeared normal and that the low pressure was likely reported
during one of the days when the pumps were turned off. However, it does
appear that her lawn isn’t receiving sufficient water coverage. Could we
have another tech come back and reinspect the property?
The owner also reported in that phone call last Thursday that the recently
installed metal edging is too close to the sprinkler head and perhaps
prevents the head from popping up properly. I have submitted a ticket and
included the photos she sent me regarding the metal edging.
*I’m going to include the timeline of correspondence on this matter for
transparency on both of our ends. *
– The owner reported that her irrigation barely broadcasts. – July 18th
– Management responded and informed her that irrigation would be off for
three days next week. – July 19th
– (Sent to Precision) Is it possible to have someone work on this today
so we can get good water down before the shutoff? – July 19th
– (From Precision) – Joe stated a tech would be on site early in the
morning on Saturday, July 20th. – July 19th
– (Irrigation Tech Repair Descriptions) Investigated reports of low
pressure at 4111 Marble Dr. Confirmed water pressure is normal. The low
pressure was likely reported during one of the days when the pumps were
turned off this week. – July 19th
– The owner reached out to us and stated: “The last two waterings,
including today, there has not been enough pressure except to get a dribble
out of two different zones to water my yard. This has been going on for
three weeks now. We hand watered a little but as hot as it is this is
totally unacceptable. Another thing, when they redid the edging they even
cover up another head. They also put the edging too close to the head.” –
August 1st
– Asked the owner to send photos of the sprinkler head that’s covered by
edging – August 5th
Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. Please let
me know what your plan of action is so I can inform the owner right away.
