For 4092 Stoneham…found box and pumped out water. Discovered leak on bonnet of control valve. Screws holding bonnet down in area of lrak were both stripped. Able to reduce amount coming pit by tightening other screws…buy will need to extract stripped screws tp replace. For 2292 Woody Creek Circle, pumped out valve boxes and dug area up of original repair That was not the problem…new leak on schedule 40 tee discovered two valves down. Dug out area and drained mainline. Tech Schuett getting parts and still working on area. – Mark

Resumed process of repair on mainline. Dug out around control valve and underneath both lines. Cut out sections of both pipes to provide room to unscrew from control valve nipple. Discussion and counsel with Tech Schuett for repair. Went to DBC to get parts dor repair. Initial oversight on repair performed by Tech Schuett, then went to work on another ticket in area. Returned and Tech Schuett had majority of repair completed. Additional counsel on final elements of entire repair, including valve box placement and thrust block. Still in progress until pressure testing and refill of hole(s) tomorrow. – Mark

Resumed repair of mainline at 2292 Woody Creek Circle. Tech Schuett had completed all solvent welds of pvc repair fittings on both lines (yesterday afternoon after my shift)…as well as installation of thrust block behind repaired tee. So this morning….added dirt and tamped all around pipes and thrust block, installed and leveled both new valve boxes, cut out notches for pipes and wires on both boxes. Called Tech Schuett (not there due to truck breakdown) about isolation valve responsible for repaired area. Located, but did not have the right key for opening. Checked controller at Lochbuie while waiting for Tech Schuett to arrive. Upon his arrival, opened isolation valve and reintroduced water into repaired section of mainline. Pressure test was successful. Filled in both holes and repositioned sod. – Mark
