Preciously submitted a ticket on 7-13 am due to sprinklers not working in backyard of 533 and 535 Notified Fred Casten and he tested and sprinklers not working: Box 533 Program B Zones 8 & 9 |

Investigated cause of dry area behind 535, 537. As referenced by ticket submitter, same area was previously diagnosed….a few weeks prior..
.with wiring issues to control valves responsible for watering zones. Installed battery operated controller to run both valves….grass was green within a week or so. Checked battery powered controller…it was in the OFF position. Turned controller back on and running zone for 1 hour (in addition to regular schedule) to help facilitate speedier recovery. Past normal controller runtime window parameters of 10am, but area is obscured from view…and grass is in extreme stress. Point could also be made that valves are being checked for proper operation (which is within framework of watering restrictions)…ie verifying no glitches in controller functioning as potential culprit. Could also be someone from mowing crew wanting zone off for mowing purposes. Will investigate and follow up on controller operation. – Mark
