Josiah was out on Friday to take care of my repair ticket regarding a dry spot in my backyard. He replaced the nozzles and it looks like that will take care of the problem. I appreciate his expertise in solving the problem. I was outside when he was here, so he asked if I wanted to see how the coverage was adjusted. To do so, he had to manually turn on the zones using the controller box mounted on the side of my house. Since we were standing by the control box, I asked him what the timing was on when the watering takes place as a neighbor had asked about this. As it is a digital control box, to answer my question he looked at how the program was set on the clock. I appreciated the information, and his additional explanation of how the pond and the pumps affect the watering in the area. He said it ran Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, beginning at 8:00 am. There are 21 zones on this clock. However, since then, the system did not water either Saturday or Sunday. I am wondering if perhaps the clock was not set back to “run” or whatever is needed to resume normal operation of the system. Could this be checked out? Thanks, Joan Zoetewey

The water ran at our house today at the expected time. We came home as it was running, but were not here to see if if ran at the house just east of us. I did not see any water come on at the neighbor’s just west of us, which it normally does. After our back zone, the back zone east of us normally runs, then the front of the house to the east. The system may be functioning okay, it just doesn’t seem to be like it was before last Friday. |
