Your board members sent me the following email this evening.

Hi, Rane. I walked through the neighborhood today and noticed the shrubbery was trimmed – and ones with white flags were not. It all looks great. Please thank your crew.
Yesterday I noticed one of the crew pulling a paper out of his pocket and looking at it and then the houses. I don’t know who it was, but I appreciate his attention to detail and addresses.
Best,
Alice

With that being said, your email, just like the others, are only thinking about your property and not the HOA as a whole and what we were instructed to do. Did you ask if we were told to trim those shrubs? No. The board wanted those pruned along with hundreds of other shrubs around the property. When I told you to reach out to the board about your irrigation issue earlier in the year, you did not and I heard nothing from the board and we went along with business as usual. It sounds like you and the board need to have a conversation about 2 things, 1. how communication should work. (aka. being productive and professional) 2. what your board of directors is directing us to do around your property before you lash out at us.
Feel free to give me a call directly if you would like to hear more.
I have sent a separate email to the board with this correspondence to bring them up to speed as well.
