Hello, Mark came out and repaired my damaged hoses, thank you.  Have those zones been turned back on?  I havent seen evidence of any moisture since he left.  Also, is he done?  There is one tube just hanging out.  Are we waiting for a part?  This is not urgent.

Thanks.

  1. Thanks,  Judi. I checked the controller zone runtime…and verified valve actuation. Then I surveyed the backyard for any issues.  My sense is….the piece you mentioned that is just sitting there open/unattached…is the drip tubing I repaired several days ago. The reason it looks that way…is that on the “business end” attached to the drip line, there is a drip emitter where the smaller tubing is secured. Various irrigation techs will construct that arrangement either way, but the advantage of the emitter attached directly to the drip line (as opposed to the emitter at the end of the tubing)….is fewer parts. Either will produce the same results….the only downside of having tubing with nothing on the end—- is that it looks like there isn’t anything going on! I checked to ensure the emitter was “emitting”….and then just coiled up the excess in the planting hole.  So it is ready for planting.  It’s a 2 gallon per hour emitter, so just get the end of the tubing anywhere near the edge of the plant, and it should water it sufficiently.  If you need an additional emitter for a bigger plant, let us know.  Otherwise you should be good to go.  – Mark

Also….the reason you may not have noticed moisture in those drip areas is—-we have been implementing rain delays off and on for the last couple of weeks (including the last few days). Everything is back on now. Thanks for your patience.
