Subject: Broken irrigation line
To: Joe Potkanowicz
Hi Joe –
We have a broken irrigation line on the south side of the 7257 building in
the planter again. I came in to work this morning and it was running.
I’ve pieced it back together before but it doesn’t hold – I don’t know if
the poly is old or if the hose clamps are just ineffective on that style of
water line. I went ahead and shut off the valve to that planter. I don’t
know what else is beyond that that is getting water from that line, but I
don’t want to risk leaving it on again and wasting water.
When you guys get over here next, could someone please take a look at that
section? We’ve paid for repairs on this part previously this year and it’s
continuing to be an ongoing problem. I think the BOA would be open to
upgrading the fittings if that’s what it takes – or potentially redoing
that section of irrigation.
Let me know your thoughts?
Thanks Joe.
Brandie
