The snowfall is tapering off across Northern Colorado, with accumulations ranging from approximately 1 to 3 inches across all service areas. Our crews have been actively servicing commercial properties, and additional crews have been deployed to homeowners associations. Snow removal operations will continue throughout the night.
Many properties carry a 2 inch trigger depth during this time of year. In this event, snowfall totals have varied, with some areas receiving closer to 1 inch while others have experienced up to 3 inches due to drifting. When combined with yesterday’s snow event and the extremely low overnight temperatures expected to reach -1 degrees, with wind chills near -11, conditions create an increased risk of compaction and icing.
Based on these factors, we have made the decision to deploy snow removal services to all properties with a 2 inch trigger depth or lower to ensure safe conditions.
